Vacancy for an experienced Activities Therapist to organise and deliver a programme of activities that enrich the lives of residents at Brooklands Care Home, Antrim, located at 50 Bush Road.
Salary: £14.10 per hour; Pay: From £22,000 per year.
Job Type: Full-time; Contract Type: Part-time.
Responsibilities
* Co‑ordinate and deliver an innovative programme of social activities for residents throughout the year.
* Ensure activities are person‑centred, catering to a range of individual preferences across a broad spectrum including beauty, relaxation, arts & crafts, music and theatre.
* Ensure all associated documentation is completed and evidenced in line with company standards.
* Engage in fundraising as required; prior experience is an advantage.
* Provide a varied programme of both group and one‑to‑one activities to residents.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Enthusiastic and motivated with the skills necessary to deliver high‑quality activities.
* Previous experience of delivering activities within a care home setting desirable but not essential.
