Client Manager – Fully Remote Accountancy Practice (UK)
Salary: £45,000–£55,000
We are working with a fully remote fast-growing, tech-led accounting firm supporting high-growth and VC-backed businesses. Backed by a US-based, AI-native professional services group, they’re building a modern practice designed around automation, scalability and commercial impact.
They’re now hiring a Client Manager to take ownership of a client portfolio and deliver high-quality finance support in a fully remote environment.
The role
* End-to-end ownership of a client portfolio
* Year-end accounts, corporation tax and management reporting
* Leading client relationships day-to-day
* Reviewing VAT returns and outsourced bookkeeping
* Improving processes, controls and workflows
* Championing systems, automation and best practice
Essential experience
* ACA / ACCA qualified
* 5+ years in a UK accounting practice
* Experience owning a portfolio of 10+ clients
* Strong technical accounting skills (statutory accounts, VAT, CT)
* Confident Xero user
* Proven experience reviewing others’ work
* Established remote or hybrid homeworking experience (Covid experience alone won't be considered)
