What will you do as an Accounts Assistant?
* Manage and maintain both sales and purchase ledger functions
* Support credit control activity, including chasing overdue payments
* Process invoices and ensure accurate coding and entry
* Prepare BACS payment runs and carry out reconciliations
* Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
* Assist with payroll processing and related finance administration
What do you need as an Accounts Assistant?
* Experience in a transactional finance role (sales and/or purchase ledger)
* Confident using Sage accounting software
* Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
* Ability to work well within a small, collaborative team
* Flexible, hands-on approach to varied finance tasks
* Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
