Fresh People are recruiting on behalf of a fresh produce business for an experienced Account Manager to join a growing commercial team based in Kings Hill.
This is a customer-facing commercial role suited to someone with previous experience in fresh produce or FMCG account management, who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and taking ownership of key retail relationships.
The Role
As Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing key customer accounts, driving profitable growth, and ensuring excellent service delivery across the supply chain.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Acting as the main point of contact for designated customer accounts
* Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships
* Delivering regular customer reviews, action plans and performance updates
* Managing sales, volume, margin and waste targets
* Developing customer growth strategies and category plans
* Producing pricing, costing and profitability analysis
* Managing forecasting, promotions and range changes
* Working closely with Procurement, Technical and Operations teams
* Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and category performance
* Leading internal account meetings and reporting on KPIs
