Staff Validation Engineer
We are partnering with a growing technology company who are seeking an experienced Staff Validation Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. You will be a key contributor in bringing new products from concept to release, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
* Influence product design early in development, ensuring testability and validation coverage.
* Develop validation solutions across hardware, software, and documentation.
* Select and integrate bench-top test equipment for validation workflows.
* Create automated test scripts using Python or LabVIEW.
* Work collaboratively with design, product, test, and applications engineering teams.
* Present validation strategies, status updates, and results in review meetings.
* Generate clear technical documentation and validation reports.
* Perform hands-on testing of high-speed optical components, ICs, and modules.
About You
* Degree in Electronics, Physics, or a related engineering field.
* Proven experience in product validation within optical, semiconductor, or high-speed electronics environments.
* Proficiency in Python or LabVIEW for automation and data capture.
* Strong understanding of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, BERTs, and optical measurement tools.
* Detail-oriented, proactive communicator with strong problem-solving skills.
