My client is seeking Experienced Project Engineers to join their growing water and wastewater business in the UK. As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager from project inception through to handover ensuring compliance with company and client procedures. The role is located in Leeds.
Role details include:
- Understanding the clients project requirements
- Manage packages of work allocated to you as part of the scheme
- Coordinate the Mechanical, Electrical & Civil design and interfaces
- Produce monthly progress reports
- Review and collate documents & drawings for both internal governance and client acceptance through the gateway processes as assigned with in your package of work
- Identification of requirements for design of temporary works
- Monitor and Track change control
- Ensure that all enquiries are in accordance with BS and client specification
- Manage subcontractors through design & build phase
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the project planner to baseline programme
- Monitor and track with the planner progress of the project through all phases
- Compilation of Weekly / monthly reports as dictated by the project
- Agree with the subcontractors their Deliverable Schedules to meet the programme
- Monitoring performance of the subcontractors
- Ensure Technical governance and sign off is adhered to
- Chair Collaborative meetings with the client
- Input in to the Project Management Plan
- Producing and reviewing sub-contractor enquiry documents to enable all design to be incorporated
- Report and gain approval for change
