Position: Theatre Practitioner – Anaesthetics & Recovery
Location: The Christie Private Care
Type: Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week
Shift: Monday to Saturday – 07:30–18:00, 10:00–20:00, or 12:00–21:00

What you’ll do
* Deliver a consistently high standard of patient care utilizing evidence-based practice
* Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate all aspects of patient care
* Work across all disciplines, including Anaesthetics and Recovery, to grow skill set
* Prepare patients and provide skilled assistance to the anaesthetist and skilled nursing care to patients in Recovery
* Participate fully as a team member, working in all areas of the theatre suite, sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues to promote a cohesive team and achieve team objectives
What you’ll bring
* Operating Department Practitioner or Registered Nurse qualification
* Postgraduate experience in Theatres
* Current HCPC/NMC registration
* Anaesthetics and Recovery experience
* Completion of postgraduate Anaesthetics course for Nurses (essential)
