A leading Charity is currently recruiting an Accounting Technician to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an employer with an excellent reputation in the local market and who provide an essential service across Northern Ireland.
The Ideal Person
5. Qualified Accounting Technician (or equivalent) plus at least two year's relevant post-qualification experience obtained in the last 5 years
OR
6. At least 4 years relevant and recent experience operating as an Accounting Technician (QBE) ideally within the last 5 years (experience to include posting journals, prepayments & accruals, VAT, balance sheet reconciliations (to include bank reconciliations) and annual returns in line with the principal duties outlined for the role)
7. Available at short notice.
Responsibilities
8. Posting month-end journals including accruals, prepayments, depreciation & VAT.
9. Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
10. Preparation of monthly income reconciliations.
11. Prepare or assist with preparation of financial analysis reports.
12. Provide cover for the Income team, when required.
13. Provide assistance with data cleansing of all relevant data on current systems.
14. Assist with data migration preparations across all relevant modules, including the completion of templates.
15. Assist with reconciliation activities between legacy and new ERP systems to ensure data integrity and accurate financial reporting.
