About The Role
Brett Concrete are seeking an experienced concrete industry Technical Manager to oversee the running of the technical department and its systems for 19 concrete plants.
Responsibilities
* Strategically drive and lead an effective Safety, Health, Environment and Sustainability Culture.
* Ensuring compliance against standard and audits.
* Meeting testing regimes and ensuring compliance and recording of accurate data.
* Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, costs and quality.
* Profit responsible by providing cost effective material solutions to meet customer and Material and Product Standards.
* Lead the technical team, manage resources, and maintain high standards of quality, innovation, and efficiency.
* Manage and maintain a Technical system.
We're Looking For
* Proven experience in a technical leadership or management role.
* Strong understanding of relevant technologies, systems, and industry trends.
* Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills.
* Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Strong leadership presence with a focus on team empowerment.
* Concrete industry experience or similar.
* IT Literate.
* Full UK driving licence.
