Are you ready to take your first big step into the world of business and office administration? Cambridge Regional College is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Administration Apprentice to join our friendly Curriculum Administration team at our busy Cambridge Campus.
As part of this role, you will work towards achieving a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration, gaining valuable skills, real workplace experience, and a recognised qualification—all while earning a salary.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Apprentice Administrator, you will be an important part of the Curriculum Administration team, supporting staff across the college and helping keep everything running smoothly. You’ll report to the Team Leader for Curriculum Administration & Reception and get involved in a wide range of tasks, including:
* Providing high quality administrative and student support to Directors, Heads of Department and teaching staff
* Helping different departments share information and stay organised
* Supporting colleagues in Curriculum Administration, Reception and Customer Services
* Acting as a key point of contact for staff, students and visitors
* Collecting and sharing important Teaching & Learning information
This is a great role if you enjoy being organised, helping others, and learning how a large college operates behind the scenes.
What We're Looking For
You don’t need years of experience—just the right attitude and a willingness to learn. Our ideal apprentice will be:
* Motivated, organised and able to manage their time well
* A team player who is also confident taking responsibility for their own tasks
* Someone who enjoys helping others and providing great customer service
* Calm under pressure and able to work accurately with important information
* Confident using IT, with good problem‑solving skills and strong attention to detail
* A clear communicator with good written skills
You will need GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
This role is perfect if you’re looking to build on your existing admin skills, take on more responsibility, and gain experience working with confidential and important information in a professional environment.
