Our client is a leading intellectual property law firm with approximately seventy patent and trade mark attorneys and litigators across offices in Halifax, Leeds, Manchester, and Cambridge. Cover patents, trade marks, designs and copyright in the UK. Using their years of experience, to identify and protect IP assets and to uncover and eliminate the risks posed by other people's IP rights.\n\nThey are looking for an Events & Sponsorship Development Manager to join the wider Marketing and Business Development team in Leeds city centre, on an 12-15 month fixed-term contract and support the business across offices in Leeds, Manchester, Cambridge, and Halifax.
\n\nResponsible for ownership of the events and sponsorships strategy, aligning it with the broader marketing and business development goals. From identifying key industry events to facilitating attorney attendance, evaluating sponsorship opportunities, and analysing performance, directly supporting client engagement and revenue growth. \n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDevelop and deliver an events programme that aligns with our marketing strategy\nContact for events-related queries across the business\nResearch and recommend external events that support business development\nOversee event logistics with the support of the Marketing & Events Coordinator\nSupport the delivery of in-house events alongside the Content & Digital Marketing Manager\nCreate and manage an annual events and sponsorship calendar\nDevelop data-led insights through event reporting and ROI analysisYour Skills\n\nProven experience working in a similar role in marketing or business development in a law firm or professional services environment\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, including confidence working with partners\nAbility to build and manage relationships with key external networks and event providers\nCommercial awareness, with a balance of strategic thinking and attention to detailBenefits\n\n34 hour working week, Monday - Friday\nAgile working\n25 days annual leave + bank holidays\nHoliday Purchase Scheme\nSalary Exchange\nLife assurance\nHealthcare Plan\nSocial outings\nVouchers on Christmas, Birthdays and Special Occasions Charity eventsIf you have experience with Intellectual Property and Events - You are highly encouraged to apply.
