Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organised Damp, Mould & Repairs Planner to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is critical in ensuring the effective coordination and scheduling of maintenance and repair works, with a particular focus on damp and mould cases within social housing properties.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, schedule, and coordinate repair and maintenance works, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
* Manage and prioritise damp and mould cases, ensuring timely response and resolution in line with service standards.
* Liaise with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to arrange appointments and provide updates.
* Monitor job progress, ensuring works are completed within agreed timeframes and to required quality standards.
* Maintain accurate records and update internal systems with job status, notes, and outcomes.
* Handle incoming repair requests and queries, providing excellent customer service at all times.
* Work closely with surveyors and operational teams to ensure effective diagnosis and resolution of issues.
* Ensure compliance with relevant housing regulations, policies, and health & safety standards.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in planning/scheduling within a repairs or maintenance environment.
* Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience dealing with damp and mould cases.
* Previous experience working within the social housing sector is essential.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a high‑volume workload.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in using scheduling systems and Microsoft Office applications.
