About the role...
The Coppid Beech Hotel has a rare and exciting opportunity for aMeetings & Events Sales Managerto join our fantastic team.
This is a busy, demanding role and will require a proven record in a similar position. You will of course be key to every aspect of organising meetings, events and conferences within our 205 bedroom hotel, from taking initial enquiries to ensuring a perfect execution of the event on the day.
Reporting to the Revenue Manager the successful applicant will have the following skills...
* Superb customer service, communication and organisational skills.
* A strong focus on meeting business targets for revenue and occupancy.
* Excellent IT skills including knowledge of Opera Sales and/or Delphi.
* Demonstrate pro-active selling and effective conversion of enquiries to bookings.
* Establish and maintain strong working relationships both with colleagues, clients and suppliers.
* Have an eye for detail and an excellent knowledge of our competitors in order to promote our facilities to their full potential.
* Strong leadership skills with a positive, friendly attitude.

Work schedule...
* This is a full-time position with a standard Monday to Friday schedule, though occasional weekend work may be required to oversee weddings & events

* Office hours follow a rota schedule, 08:30 to 18:30 - Monday to Friday
