We are seeking a Training Team Leader to provide management support to the instructor team, ensure continuous development through upskilling, mentoring, and one-to-one support.
The Team Leader will offer operational support to the South training team, maintain strong relationships with the LSMs for their training centre portfolio, and collaborate with the Head of External Training to enhance business efficiencies and revenue growth.

Main Duties include:
1. Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, appraisals, and IQAs in accordance with HR policy and skills matrix.
2. Maintain good working relationships with location services managers, conducting regular training centre audits and ensuring best practices.
3. Perform monthly desktop audits aligned with accrediting body standards.
4. Attend monthly PRM meetings and present team performance.
5. Report and measure team and individual performance against business KPIs.
6. Host monthly team meetings to share business updates and key focus areas.
7. Deliver training courses across the region, requiring extensive travel.
8. Promote a culture of health and safety, including customer well-being.
9. Ensure courses meet external awarding body criteria and compliance standards.
10. Manage paperwork compliance and upload documentation to governing bodies post-course.
11. Deliver training to meet business and external standards.
12. Guide leads to relevant sales teams.
13. Prepare and deliver training sessions as needed.
14. Assist with audits and verifications.
15. Support planning and logistical arrangements.
16. Conduct training assessments and maintain documentation within SLAs.
17. Maintain accessible training records.
18. Compile records demonstrating at least 30 hours of Continuing Professional Development.
As Training Team Leader, you will be:

* Experienced in upskilling and mentoring.
* Passionate about driving activity and business improvements.
* Possessing a Teacher / Trainer Certificate (e.g., Award in Education and Training).
* Holding Trainer the Trainer certification for delivered courses.
* Possessing an Assessors certificate (desirable).
* Familiar with modern and traditional training methods (mentoring, coaching, classroom, e-learning, workshops, simulations).
* Excellent communicator with strong leadership skills.
* Capable of planning, multitasking, and managing time effectively.
