HGV Class 1 Driver Store Deliveries NightsWe are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers who are also happy to drive Class 2 vehicles when required .This role involves delivering goods to retail stores from a modern, well-maintained fleet.Job Details Deliveries to retail stores only38 drops per shiftCaged deliveriesSome stores may require the driver to open the store for delivery (training provided on first shift)Drivers will also return backloads to siteVehicles are pre-loadedShift Information Various start times available, including: 20:00, 21:30, 02:00, 03:00, 04:00Minimum 8 hours guaranteed (unless specifically booked for a 4-hour shift)Breaks are unpaidWorking days: Monday to SaturdaySunday: double time payOvertime: applies after 44 hours at time and a halfSite Information 24-hour operation14 different delivery routesAdditional Duties Drivers may occasionally assist in the warehouse if operationally requiredAssessment & Training Hazard perception test (computer based)Road driving assessmentSafe Systems of Work (SSOW) briefingFirst shift as a drivers mate before driving independentlyDriver Requirements Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licenceWilling to drive both Class 1 and Class 2 vehiclesCPC and Digital Tachograph card requiredComfortable with multi-drop retail deliveriesProfessional, reliable, with minimum 12 months experienceMaximum 6 penalty pointsPay Class 1 Days: £17.48/hrClass 1 Nights: £17.83/hrClass 2 Days: £16.56/hrClass 2 Nights: £16.89/hrSunday: double time payOvertime: applies after 44 hours at time and a halfIf you are a flexible Class 1 driver looking for regular work with modern vehicles and structured routes, we would love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
