Band 6 Deputy Team Manager – South Unplanned District Nursing team
The post holder will work in a multi-professional environment, supporting other team members and contributing to the future development of the service.
As a senior nurse, you will demonstrate good leadership skills, manage change in clinical practice and processes, and independently make sound clinical and leadership judgments. You will also regularly supervise the workload of junior colleagues.

Required Qualifications & Skills
* Driving and use of a car is a requirement; reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act can be considered for alternative travel if required.
* Sound knowledge and application of up-to-date evidence-based clinical practice.
* Excellent communication, analytical, problem‑solving skills and IT literacy.
* Aware of the complex needs of a multicultural, socially diverse population.
* Leadership and interpersonal qualities.
* Effective time management and organisational/prioritisation skills, capable of meeting deadlines while handling sensitive information.
* Knowledge and implementation of NHS access targets.
* Understanding of finance and performance management.
* Enthusiastic, highly motivated nurses who are strong communicators, team players, and have sound clinical knowledge.
* Priority will be given to applicants who possess the District Nurse qualification or who are currently working towards it.
