We’re working with a leading financial services organisation seeking a Finance Systems Analyst to support their finance systems and data environment.
This role sits within the finance function and focuses on ensuring robust, accurate, and well-maintained financial data models and reporting systems, enabling timely and reliable business insight.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining finance systems, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring data integrity across multiple platforms.
*The system used is TM1, any experience with this system would be desirable*
Key Responsibilities
1. Support month-end processes including ledger maintenance and period close activities
2. Maintain and update finance hierarchies and master data ( cost centres, GL structures)
3. Act as a data model administrator across finance systems
4. Monitor and troubleshoot data loads and integrations
5. Support financial reporting and planning processes
6. Maintain and improve data model documentation
7. Manage user access and system controls
8. Support Power BI reporting models, including refreshes and dashboard updates
9. Assist with system upgrades, testing, and continuous improvements
Key Requirements
Essential:
10. experience working in a finance or financial systems role
11. Strong understanding of financial reporting / management reporting processes
12. Advanced Excel skills
13. experience working with data models or reporting systems
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
15. experience with TM1 / Planning Analytics
16. Exposure to Power BI or similar BI tools
17. Understanding of system integrations / data pipelines
18. Prior experience in financial services
