This is a varied and engaging role where relationship building is essential. You will coordinate the full hire process, from taking customer orders through to delivery and collection, working closely with all areas of the depot to ensure a smooth, efficient and positive experience for every customer.This is a fast-paced, desk-based position where you'll be in regular contact with stock teams, drivers and engineers, ensuring equipment is available, deliveries are on time and customers are kept fully informed.Day to day, you'll be:Taking and processing hire orders accurately and efficientlyCoordinating deliveries and collections with the transport and depot teamsLiaising with stock, drivers and engineers to ensure equipment availabilityBuilding strong relationships with customers through excellent serviceResolving queries and ensuring any issues are dealt with promptlyKeeping systems and records up to dateWorking collaboratively to ensure the depot operates smoothly and efficientlyFor us to help you on your journey to success, you'll need:Strong organisational skillsConfident communication skills, both written and verbalThe ability to adapt in a busy, changing environmentA commitment to learning and personal developmentA full UK driving licencePrevious experience within the hire industry or a similar sales or operational roleThe ability to support your business unit/team in delivering our ESG Strategy – Decade to DeliverWhat will we provide?We'll provide everything you need to succeed in this role.
