Job Title: SEND Teaching AssistantLocation: Hampton, London Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday) Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM Salary: Paid to Scale About the Role We are seeking a caring and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming school community in Hampton, London. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them access learning and reach their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities •Support the class teacher in delivering differentiated lessons and activities tailored to SEND students •Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) •Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages engagement and independence •Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and other stakeholders •Support students with personal care needs, mobility, and safe access to the school environment •Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals •Engage in ongoing training and professional development Requirements •Level 2 or Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent) •Experience working with children with SEND (desirable) •Strong communication and teamwork skills •A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach •A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs What We Offer •A supportive and inclusive school environment •Opportunities for professional development and career progression •The chance to make a meaningful and lasting impact on students’ lives
