Job Title: Electronic Assembler
Contract Type: Temporary (with the potential for a permanent position)
Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Working Hours: Monday & Tuesday, 6 am - 3:45 pm; Wednesday & Thursday, 6 am - 4 pm
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly skilled Electronic Assembler to join our clients dynamic team! If you have a passion for electrical and mechanical assembly and thrive in a flexible work environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
What You'll Do:
As an Electronic Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and inspection of electronic components. Your key responsibilities will include:
Perform inspection, assembly, configuration, and functional testing on electronic components, such as:
- Actuators
- 8071/2 PID Controllers
- Positioner Boards
Assemble and test valves, switches, alternators, and controls to form complete units or subassemblies as needed.
Interpret assembly drawings and Bills of Materials to ensure a 'right first time' mindset.
Accurately pick materials against the Bill of Material to meet necessary requirements.
Uphold Company Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards at all times. Conduct inspections to identify and escalate any defects.
Champion 5S principles, Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM), and maintain good housekeeping.
Actively engage with the Company's Performance Management System, working towards achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Support the training and development of your colleagues as needed.
Embrace change positively and productively, adapting to new tasks and challenges.
Work additional hours when required to ensure all responsibilities are fulfilled.
Keep updated on changes to Company Policies and Procedures, ensuring compliance.
