Your Role
Join us as an L&D Manager! Following a successful internal promotion, we're seeking a dynamic Learning & Development Manager. Your role will involve developing and delivering a comprehensive L&D strategy aligned with company policies, procedures, and statutory requirements. Your mission is to foster continuous professional development, equipping colleagues with the knowledge and skills needed to excel and reach their full potential. You will manage and measure training programs to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce.
Your Responsibilities
Embrace flexibility with us! Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. During your first six months, you'll be based on-site to foster relationships and connect with colleagues. Afterward, enjoy the flexibility of working three days in the office and two days remotely.
1. Provide leadership to the L&D team, setting clear performance expectations and supporting direct reports in their business and developmental goals.
2. Line management responsibility for L&D advisors/instructors, ensuring team support in HR matters per KN HR policies.
3. Oversee training and development programs ensuring incorporation of the latest methods.
4. Ensure employees are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and motivation for their tasks.
5. Identify training needs through job analysis, appraisals, and consultation with managers and HR.
6. Collaborate with QSHE Managers to support each area and ensure a consistent QSHE approach.
7. Recommend appropriate training methods based on needs analysis.
8. Understand and manage training requirements for MHE operations within the workplace.
Your Skills And Experiences
1. Proven experience operating at a strategic level within Operational Learning & Development.
2. Experience managing/delivering training for MHE equipment (not essential but may be required in the future).
3. Proven people management experience for teams both onsite and remotely.
4. Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills at a senior level.
5. Experience developing high-quality training materials is advantageous.
