The Role
As a Senior Freight Forwarder, you will be responsible for the start to finish process of moving import shipments mainly by sea but some air. You will be commercially minded with a real passion for moving freight & solving problems for time critical cargo.
Your responsibilities will also include:
* Negotiating and booking cargo with carriers.
* Managing documentation flow, including Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin & Licences.
* Ensuring cargo is Customs cleared using CDS.
* Arranging delivery and managing all the way to final destination.

Salary & Benefits
For the right candidate our client is looking to pay between £30‑38k for the right person along with benefits, company bonus & free parking. Monday to Friday 9‑5.30pm
