Whether you’re already working in education and looking for your next role, or if you’re working in industry and looking to change your career path, we have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer to join our Creative Digital Design curriculum team in readiness for the start of the 2025/26 academic year.
Sharing your knowledge to unlock potential whilst guiding learners through their studies, the Creative Digital Design department is seeking a passionate and skilled Lecturer to join the team, specialising in Architecture, Interior Design, and Product Design. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative teaching across these interconnected design disciplines, helping students develop both conceptual and practical skills in design and problem-solving. Expertise in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite is required.
The role involves specialising in 3D modelling tools and workshop practices including laser cutting and 3D printing techniques, alongside a deep understanding of design principles, sustainability, and the latest industry trends. The successful candidate will be a team player, an excellent communicator, and able to proactively manage deadlines while maintaining high standards of delivery.
The Role:
Where you’ll work: This role is based at our Dartford campus.
Your hours: 18.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum (0.5 FTE).
Your pay: £17,109.50 - £21,050 pro rata per annum (£34,219 to £42,100 full-time equivalent), dependent on qualifications and experience.
