Our client is a high-growth, innovation-led energy company delivering low-carbon heat networks across the UK. With a strong reputation in the industry, they are decarbonising cities and communities through the design, build, and operation of advanced energy systems.
Due to continued growth they're hiring for an Energy Engineer to lead energy infrastructure upgrades and new network projects. You’ll manage each project from planning to commissioning, acting as the key point of contact across internal teams and contractors to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery.
Key Duties
* Drive the successful planning and execution of energy infrastructure projects across operational sites
* Manage end-to-end project delivery, including cost control, supplier coordination, and scheduling
* Ensure all activities meet regulatory standards and align with safety and quality expectations
* Coordinate day-to-day workstreams between engineering teams and external partners
* Oversee the smooth integration of new assets into operational environments
* Act as a key liaison for clients, providing clear communication and regular performance updates
Ideal Experience
* Experience delivering technical or engineering projects in sectors such as energy, utilities, or building services
* Familiarity with energy systems and controls, including CHP, heating plant, and monitoring platforms
* Excellent organisational skills with a hands-on, solutions-driven mindset
* Willingness to travel for site visits and project coordination
* Strong communication skills
