Platform 1864 are looking to hire a Bar Manager on a permanent basis. This will be a full-time role. Experience in bar work is essential however experience in management is not as all training will be given on the job.
The job Role:
- Manage all aspects of the bar, including stock control, ordering & stock rotation
- Create and implement drink menus and specials while sourcing new and interesting beverages
- Train and manage a small, friendly bar team
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Oversee the preparation of cocktails and other beverages to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area at all times
- Maintain the cleanliness standards of the cellar
* Locking up and cashing up
Ensuring there's always a high standard of customer service being delivered
Our ideal candidate:
- Previous experience in bartending
- Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
- A genuine love for hospitality and bar work
- A sound knowledge of drinks who is also willing to learn and progress
- Excellent communication skills who enjoys working with people
- Exceptional customer service skills
