Line Chef Role Overview
Our Line Chefs are responsible for producing all menu items in an efficient and consistent manner. This role reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and is part of a team based at our attractive hotel in Haydock M6J23 (WA12 0JG).
Line Chef Duties include:
* Cooking food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other methods according to specified recipes and standards.
* Facilitating special requests from guests when received.
* Managing wastage through correct product measurement.
* Adhering to all kitchen SOPs at all times.
* Setting up and stocking food items and other supplies.
Beyond culinary skills, you'll represent our company values and culture, ensuring service excellence remains our top priority.
Other titles for this role include Prep Cook, Line Cook, Commis Chef, or Chef de Partie.

Candidate Requirements
Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Proven experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook is preferred. Familiarity with industry best practices and Basic Food Safety are essential.
