Responsibilities
As an IT Manager, you are required to provide 1st and 2nd level support in a busy organisation with multiple users. Good hardware and software knowledge is required.
Some of your duties will include:
* Managing, organising and evaluating IT systems and electronic data operations
* Installing and configuring hardware, software, networks, printers and scanners
* Ensuring security of data, network access and backup systems throughout company
* Liaising with third-party Contractors when necessary to resolve technical issues
* Managing a register of when maintenance was completed and a schedule of dates
* Managing IT asset register and handling annual budget to ensure cost effectiveness
