Role Expectations
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving performance, consistency and control across a high-volume transactional finance function, ensuring delivery is accurate, efficient and aligned to agreed KPIs and SLAs.

Shared services delivers consistently against KPIs, SLAs and reporting deadlines
Processes are standardised and embedded across all brands
Service charge accounting supports the timely and accurate delivery of year-end accounts
Stakeholders across the business have confidence in the service being delivered
The function is set up to scale, supporting both current operations and future acquisitions
Most Weeks, You’ll Be
HOW YOU’LL SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME
Leading the day-to-day performance of AP and AR shared services teams
Monitoring and improving KPIs across volume, quality, efficiency and delivery
Supporting managers with escalations, performance issues and operational challenges
Driving process standardisation, controls and best practice across the functionOverseeing reporting frameworks and ensuring deadlines are met
Working with stakeholders across the group to improve service delivery
Who This Role Is For
Has strong experience leading shared services or transactional finance teams
Is confident managing performance, processes and people at scale
Is comfortable operating across multiple stakeholders and business units
Can bring structure, challenge existing processes and drive improvement
Takes ownership of delivery and holds teams to a high standard
Experience That Helps
Experience in a shared services or centralised finance function
Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls
Experience delivering against KPIs, SLAs and operational targets
Background in property management, service charge accounting or similar
Professional accountancy qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent
