Job Title: HSE Business Partner
Working Pattern: Full Time
Working location: UK - located at Barnoldswick Site Compression Systems MBU
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Rolls-Royce for an HSE Business Partner to join our team at Barnoldswick.
The HSE Business Partner will lead HS&E locally in support of the business priorities, based on a sound understanding of the local HS&E performance and risk profile.
They will coach managers in effective HS&E leadership and implementation.
They will be the principal HS&E point of contact for your responsibilities and accountabilities, delivering on improvement plans and proactively seeking out emerging issues.
They will identify and promote good practices and work collaboratively with the Business HS&E and wider HS&E functions to build a team spirit and align with business and functional strategies.

What you will be doing:
Risk Management
* Maintain up-to-date local risk profiles, inform management, and drive improvement actions. Identify common issues for business improvement programs. Ensure critical HS&E controls are managed and assured.
Leadership and Culture
* Set expectations and lead by example towards Zero Harm. Improve HS&E maturity through initiatives and represent the business in functional programs. Engage beyond sites to optimize programs.
Learning from Incident Investigation
* Respond to incidents, communicate updates, coach managers in investigations, analyze incident data for trends, and share learnings. Monitor and report on action closures.
Assurance
* Develop local assurance programs aligned with business needs, monitor progress, interpret trends, and use findings to improve risk management.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
* Identify and prioritize engagement plans with HS&E stakeholders, maintain good relations with regulators, and collaborate with senior HS&E leaders to implement standards and improvements.

* NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
* Membership of an appropriate HSE professional body like IOSH, with ongoing professional development
* Experience influencing managers and standing firm when necessary
* Strong leadership qualities
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
