Behaviour Support Worker – Waterlooville
Prospero Teaching is seeking a compassionate and resilient Behaviour Support Worker to join a client school in Waterlooville. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners, helping them develop strategies to overcome behavioural challenges and thrive in their educational journey.
Contract Details:
1. Location: Waterlooville (Hampshire)
2. Start Date: September 2025
3. Contract Type: Full-time
4. Pay Rate: Minimum £ per hour
5. Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Requirements and Qualifications:
6. A patient and empathetic approach to supporting pupils with behavioural needs.
7. Strong behaviour management skills to foster a safe and positive learning environment.
8. Enthusiasm for encouraging pupils to engage actively in their learning journey.
9. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with pupils and parents.
10. Self-reflective, with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
11. Experience in supporting children with behavioural challenges is desirable.
Eligibility:
12. Right to work in the UK.
13. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
14. Provide two professional child-related references.
