Company Description
The Stockyard, nestled within the 160-year-old Melton Mowbray Livestock Market, is a vibrant hub just a stone’s throw away from the town centre. It is a multifaceted space, home to a multitude of businesses and serving as a hub for food and drink production, markets, events, and community activities.
As the Livestock Market advanced into a social and economic powerhouse for Melton and the farming community, the southern market side was relaunched as The Stockyard in 2022. Subsequently, a government funding investment has been secured to develop the site further to create a centre of excellence for Melton Mowbray.
The Tavern Café is located in the heart of The Stockyard, serving homemade breakfasts and specials alongside a bar. Primarily accommodating customers from the prestigious Melton Mowbray Livestock market, as well as Tuesday market visitors and other site events.
