This entry-level position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with the monthly close process, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. In addition to core accounting duties, this role serves as the primary backup for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), providing essential coverage and continuity across the finance team. We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic, hands-on environment. Whether you're reconciling bank accounts, preparing journal entries, or jumping in to help process vendor payments or customer invoices, you'll be an integral part of our lean and collaborative finance team.What's In It For YouWe’re committed to our employees and work hard to prove it. What You Will Do
1. Perform month-end closing procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations, management reporting, and foreign exchange rate updates.
2. Assist the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as a back-up and an additional resource during times of increased volume.
3. Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts for accuracy and completeness, which includes researching variances or unexpected transactions.
4. Support the accounting team with special projects and process improvements
5. Assist with ERP implementation by gathering data, testing transactions, and identifying errors.
6. Ad-hoc requests as needed.
7. Assist with internal and external audits by ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures and providing audit request items in a timely manner.
8. Review information and trends to ensure that the output of the processes is achieving the desired results.

9. Bachelor's Degree business, business administration, accounting, or finance any combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved required
10. 1 year Finance and accounting experience working in a manufacturing environment required
11. Demonstrated strong analytical and problems solving skills
12. Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
13. Strong time management; Ability to manage multiple priorities at once
14. Sound decision-making
15. Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional internal parties, external parties and company management
16. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
17. Proficiency with MS Office suite specifically using Outlook & Excel
18. Experience with ERP systems
