Social Care 4U is looking for an experienced and motivated Care Manager to join our growing domiciliary care team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day management of care services, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered in line with CQC standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing and coordinating domiciliary care packages
* Completing new client assessments and risk assessments
* Conducting regular care reviews and updating care plans
* Carrying out spot checks, observations, and competency checks for care staff
* Supervising and supporting Care Workers in the community
* Ensuring service users receive safe, effective, and person-centred care
* Managing staff rotas and assisting with care scheduling where required
* Responding to emergencies, incidents, safeguarding concerns, and complaints appropriately
* Liaising with local authorities, social workers, families, and healthcare professionals
* Monitoring service quality and ensuring compliance with CQC regulations
* Supporting with staff inductions, training, supervisions, and appraisals
* Reviewing MAR charts, daily records, and care documentation
* Participating in on-call duties where required
* Assisting with audits and quality assurance processes
* Ensuring policies and procedures are followed at all times
* Supporting with hospital discharges and care package mobilisation
* Promoting dignity, independence, safeguarding, and wellbeing for all service users
Requirements
* Previous experience within domiciliary care or social care management
* Must hold a Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
* Good understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding procedures
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
* Full UK right to work
