We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate, candidate to take on the role of Deputy Manager. Candidates must have at least a level 4 qualification and experience in working in a Nursery as well as experience of working with the ALN team
The ideal candidate should have a background in childcare, a passion for working with children, and strong communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate must have room leader experience and will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for the children as well as planning and delivering activities that stimulate learning and development. Be responsible for overseeing planning, observations & development files for their own key children. Working closely with the ALN team delivering reports and 1:1 development files.
Responsibilities:
* Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children.
* Develop and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children.
* Observe and record children's development. Maintaining accurate files and records
* Maintain accurate records of children's development and progress.
* Ensure that the nursery Pre-school room is clean and hygienic.
* Maintain appropriate safety standards in the nursery.
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers.
* Be responsible for the leadership of the ALN team working closely with the monitoring of ALN children.
* Working closely with the Nursery Manager taking responsibility of some of the day to day paperwork.
* Staying up to date with National Minimum standards and CIW Regulations.
* Be familiar with the Flying start scheme as well as the 30hr Childcare scheme.
* Stepping in as manager to cover holidays and sickness when required
