ABOUT THE ROLE
Leads Technology Platforms and Infrastructure Architecture on a project to meet business requirements through requirements analysis cross-team collaboration expertise support and project supervision.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
1. Manages and monitors the organization's technology platforms and infrastructure architecture and plays a leading role in the vision and development of the company's future technology.
2. Ensures infrastructure installations and upgrades are made in accordance with established policies procedures and software licensing agreements.
3. Identifies implements and monitors best practices for infrastructure architecture while providing expert advice on core infrastructure initiatives.
4. Interprets software requirement and designs relevant infrastructure architecture and performance modelling.
Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE
5. Working knowledge of resource estimation internal administration and operational processes.
6. Expertise in several solution portfolio area (networking passenger self-service etc.)
7. Knowledgeable about SITA architecture direction methodologies policies and practices nice to have
8. Understand the Enterprise Architecture/IT Strategy.
9. Knowledgeable on how components are connected and interact.
10. Strong understanding of system integration and hardware issues.
11. Demonstrate a practical awareness of other architectures.
12. Demonstrate analytical flexibility and versatility. Understanding of how own work fits into the bigger picture.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 8-10 years IT experience or equivalent work experience in a relevant environment.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science Engineering Mathematics etc.) or sufficient work experience to demonstrate proficiency at this level.
