Skills & Responsibilities: We are looking for Process Engineers early in their career to work on predominately early-stage process engineering activities (i.e., concept, appraise and select studies) Reporting to the lead engineer on a feasibility, concept, FEED, detailed design or EPC project Can be technically responsible for an area of work and supervises preparation of specific deliverables Undertaking specific tasks/ area of work as defined by the lead/ principal engineer In consultation with process group manager takes responsibility for identifying own development needs and ensuring that agreed development goals are met taking due cognisance of project commitments Performing related duties as and when instructed by lead/ principal engineer or group manager Undertaking specified tasks/ areas of work dependant on size and complexity of project, as defined by the lead engineer or project/ project engineering manager Responsible for communicating technical/ project issues potentially impacting the project to the lead engineer Work as part of a multidiscipline team, delivering work under the supervision of one of our lead engineers Running process simulations, preparing Process Flow Schemes with mass balances and equipment sizes, P&ID and equipment datasheets Preparing reports and presentations. Responsible for the delivery of high-quality deliverables, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards and internal procedures. In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development. Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience: Engineering degree, honours or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or similar. Working towards Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Chemical Engineers or equivalent. Exposure to consultancy, FEED/detailed design and or EPC projects. Knowledge of tools such as HYSYS or UniSim, performing standard process engineering calculations and developing technical reports. Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards (American Petroleum Institute, National Association of Corrosion Engineers, Institute of Petroleum, British Standards etc.). Communication: Excellent command of English language in both oral and written communication and skills Behaviour/ Core Competencies: Proactive approach. Attention to detail. Team player. Ability to meet schedules and deadlines. Multi-tasking/prioritising.
