OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Communications Lead to join a dynamic organisation on an initial 6-month contract. This role will play a critical part in shaping and delivering high-impact communications across a complex change environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy aligned to organisational objectives
* Lead internal and external communications during a period of transformation and change
* Partner with senior stakeholders to craft clear, engaging messaging
* Oversee content creation across multiple channels (digital, intranet, leadership comms, etc.)
* Manage communications planning, ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment
* Provide expert advice on reputation management and stakeholder engagement
* Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of communications activities
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in a senior communications role, ideally within large or complex organisations
* Strong background in change communications and transformation programmes
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Experience managing multiple communication channels and campaigns
* Ability to operate at pace and adapt in a fast-moving environment
Desirable
* Experience in regulated or professional services environments
* Background in consultancy or interim assignments

* Competitive day rate of £600-£700 (Inside IR35)
