The Catering Department at Wrexham Maelor Hospital provides meals, snacks, and beverages to patients, staff, and visitors. The Catering Supervisor is a key team member responsible for food production and service in a busy kitchen environment. The role involves working closely with the Catering Co-ordinator and managers to ensure catering services meet nutritional and dietary requirements arising from clinical, religious, and cultural needs.
Main duties of the job
The Catering Supervisor's responsibilities include:

* Ensuring a clean and safe environment is maintained
The ideal candidate will possess good teamwork, leadership, communication, and organizational skills. They should be self-motivated, able to work independently, flexible with shift changes, and have a friendly and professional approach.
Working hours are between 6.30am and 8.00pm. The rate of pay is £12.53, with enhanced pay at weekends: Saturday £16.86 and Sunday £21.18.
Fluency in Welsh is desirable; applications from Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome.

The annual salary ranges from £24,433 to £26,060, pro-rata.
