We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Leader to join our Consulting Service Line. This pivotal role will act as the central orchestrator across the Consulting business, ensuring seamless collaboration between the Consulting Leadership Team and our core Business Partners including People, Finance, Digital, and Integrated Marketing Communications.
You will be the key point of contact for operational matters within Consulting, driving strategic initiatives, resolving challenges, and enabling the business to operate efficiently and effectively. This role requires a proactive leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Coordination
1. Serve as the primary liaison between the Consulting Leadership Team and core function business partners and teams bringing ensuring successful execution of priorities. Coordinate and align operational activities across People, Finance, Digital, and Marketing to support Consulting’s strategic goals.
2. Leading change within the operating model of Consulting, identifying priorities, creating a plan and leading on the execution of these priorities, such as offshore strategy, resource management and digital needs.
3. Collaboration across key network firms (such as US) to enable growth through leveraging ways of working, skills, solutions and relationships.
4. Ensure timely escalation of issues and unblock barriers to progress, while independently resolving challenges where appropriate.
Strategic Project Support
5. Partner with key Consulting leadership/stakeholders for People and Digital to lead on strategic initiatives.
6. Lead or support cross-functional projects, pulling in subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed.
7. Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across the Consulting service line.
Stakeholder Engagement
8. Build strong relationships with business partners across core functions.
9. Represent Consulting in firm-wide operational forums and initiatives.
10. Provide clear, consistent communication and reporting to the Consulting Leadership Team.
Governance & Performance
11. Monitor and report on key operational metrics and performance indicators.
12. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
13. Support budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning in collaboration with Finance and People.
