Due to main carer retiring soon there is an opportunity to support a kind, partially sighted lady living in Poulton le Fylde.
The main duties will include personal care including dressing, showering and support with toileting. A ceiling hoist is available and full training will be given.
Other duties include daily living support to include shopping, meal preparation and occasional cleaning plus support with managing medication.
We are looking for a carer who is patient, understanding and reliable.
Must be happy to be around 2 x friendly Pugs and also physically able to push a manual wheelchair.
Driver aged 25 or over, with cleaning license is essential and a car with insurance is available for the purpose of taking out to appointments plus accompanying to social and community activities.
There are 2 x positions available.
Hours will be mornings and lunchtime plus alternate weekends
Rate of pay will be £12.21 p.p.h plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme.
