7.5 TONNE DELIVERY DRIVERS WANTED

Steer Staffing are currently recruiting for 7.5 tonne Delivery Drivers, to join a distribution and delivery company based in Wednesbury.
You will be delivering customers orders to their houses and office sites, working with a Drivers Mate to support you on all deliveries, route plans are put together for your daily and your vehicle is loaded each day.
The shifts are 5 days on and 3 days off, the days will be on a rota basis, with two 30-minute breaks, morning, and afternoon.
A DBS check will be required for this role.
The duties of the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver include:
Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving role
Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time
Installing a range of various products for our customers
Making every customer encounter memorable. Yes, you will need to love driving and being on the road, but you will need to love helping customers too.
Following a delivery route
Pre calling customers before arrival
Filling in paperwork as and when required
Removing all packaging from each delivery
The ideal 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver will have:
Experience within a similar role
A full Class C1 UK/EA licence with no more than six penalty points
CPC card (and Ideally) Tachograph card
A passion for delivering great customer service
The ability to handle heavy goods
A clean DBS
The hours of work for the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver are 5 days on 3 days off, the working days cover any 5 over Monday – Sunday, you must be available to work between the hours of 6.45am – 6.15pm, if the deliveries are completed early, you will finish early.
The salary for the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver will be £13.60 per hour / £32,000 - £35,500 per annum depending on the hours worked
