We’re looking for a talented Administration Assistant to join Breeze Underwriting in our Colchester office. You will handle renewal enquiries, support underwriting operations, assist with producing quotes and policy documents, and maintain accurate records using our IT systems. You’ll liaise with brokers and insurers, manage team diaries, and help ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Overview
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. You will develop your own objectives with your line manager but will focus on the following.
Responsibilities
* Respond to enquiries professionally and efficiently.
* Comment on survey risk improvements.
* Review EICR reports.
* Process sum insured changes.
* Review completed proposal forms.
* Understand the questions on proposal forms and what changes to the policy are needed if information differs from inception/renewal.
* Maintain agreed service levels.
* Operate within personal authority, limited and delegated parameters.
* Organise and maintain our diary system.
* Achieve individual targets while contributing to team goals.
Qualifications
* Insurance experience (Essential)
* Commercial Property/Liability Insurance experience (Essential)
* Administration experience (Essential)
This is an opportunity for an organised individual with previous administration experience, keen eye for detail, who can prioritise their own workload and assist the team in managing theirs. You will be computer literate and have experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
