We require you to understand and demonstrate this commitment" Key Responsibilities Provide emotional and practical support to service users Assist with personal care, including hygiene, meals, and daily living tasks Support individuals with medication in line with company policies Monitor and record vital signs and maintain accurate care records Promote independence and support individuals in making informed choices Contribute to the development and review of care plans Encourage participation in social and community activities Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment Follow health and safety procedures, including fire safety and risk assessments Liaise with healthcare professionals and external agencies Participate in team meetings and contribute to service improvement Support administrative tasks to ensure smooth operation of the service What We’re Looking For A caring and compassionate individual with a person-centred approach Strong communicator with the ability to build positive relationships Someone who is patient, resilient, and empathetic A proactive team player who can also work independently Motivated to support individuals to achieve independence Adaptable and able to respond to changing needs within the service Requirements At least 3 months’ experience in a care setting Understanding of basic healthcare and patient care procedures GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths Good general health and ability to carry out physical care tasks Strong organisational, communication, and record-keeping skills Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins Commitment to training and professional development Enhanced DBS clearance Ability to maintain confidentiality in line with GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package.
