Housing Support Worker
Salary: £27,176 per year

Are you passionate about helping young people build brighter futures? We're looking for a compassionate and proactive Housing Support Worker to support young people aged 16-25, including care leavers, as they move towards independent living. This is not a care role-it's hands?on, practical and emotional support to help young people gain confidence, stability, and essential life skills.
What you'll do:
* Support young people with developing independence skills, including budgeting, managing benefits, and navigating housing options.
* Build trusting, non-judgmental relationships, providing stability and encouragement.
* Bring your own interests-music, art, sports, or other passions-to connect and engage.
* Work with colleagues and external partners to ensure each young person gets the right support.
* Manage a caseload and keep clear, accurate records.
What we're looking for:
* Someone who relates easily to young people, including those with experience of trauma, mental health challenges, or substance misuse.
* Confidence engaging young people creatively and actively.
* Strong communication and IT skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
* Experience from youth work, housing, education, or similar roles (transferable skills welcome).
* Knowledge of safeguarding or support planning is helpful but not essential.

Important information:
This is a full time onsite role with a shift pattern that includes weekends, early mornings, evenings, and bank holidays. Flexibility is essential.
