About the role
ABC Teachers are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Art Teacher to join our client school in Moseley, Birmingham.
As an Art Teacher, you will have the opportunity to unleash creativity and cultivate artistic skills in students from diverse backgrounds. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging art lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment conducive to artistic exploration and expression.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive art curriculum aligned with national standards.
* Inspire and motivate students to explore various art mediums and techniques.
* Provide constructive feedback to students to support their artistic growth and development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to promote interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
* Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required.
About the school
The school are keen to have someone who is confident and passionate to slot into their friendly Arts Department. There are great opportunities for a longer-term placement within the school. You will receive on-going support from experienced senior staff and have access to a range of resources.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Art Teacher you will:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Specialisation in Art Education or relevant field.
* Proven experience teaching art at the secondary level.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
* Commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
* Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* a suitable qualification to teach Art PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
