Job Title: Insight Analyst
Location: Hybrid role – 3 days a week in Woking
Salary : Competitive
Hours Per Week : 37.5 Hours
Main purpose of role:
1. Building relationships across our clients with regular and frequent client contact including commercial presentations, performance reviews and analysis is central to the success of this position
2. The role will play a central part in the visualisation of data to ensure that the client receives analysis and measurement in an easy to use and visually engaging format.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Reporting, Insight & Evaluation:
3. To build relationships across our clients with regular and frequent contact including attendance at commercial presentations, performance reviews and analysis
4. To build relationships with the Account team and the Insight team
5. Ensure great quality of analysis to enable the delivery of a profitable service with a great return on investment for the Client
6. To actively identify and exploit the growth opportunities within a highly competitive marketplace
7. To support in directing and measuring the field team performance, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness
8. Lead the identification of commercial opportunity in order to direct and challenge client strategy
Operational analysis:
9. To forecast the impact of the field team operation – Size of Prize
10. To measure the actual impact of field operations – ROI (Return on Investment)
Impact Analysis:
11. To provide analysis and visuals on new product launches and reasoning for success
12. To produce and monitor promotional effectiveness, profitable promotions, and compliance
13. To supply analysis on Price impact
14. To measure and analyse the impact of POS (Point of Sale) location
15. To deliver distribution compliance and opportunity analysis
16. To provide impactful analysis on Planogram compliance
17. Support with the analysis of Intervention impact and lost sales opportunity
18. Lead the analysis on supply chain operational efficiencies
Presenting & Reporting:
19. Responsible for producing and presenting the findings of analysis to key contacts within Client’s group
20. To build and deliver regular data reports to the Client on a frequent basis, ensuring to deliver cutting insight and visual impact
21. To take ownership for ensuring all system generated reports are delivered accurately and to an agreed schedule
Field Optimisation:
22. To provide and maintain a dynamic call file set driven by EPOS data analytical capability and other third-party data sources
23. To consistently utilise territory optimisation and journey planning software
Skills:
Essential:
24. Advanced Excel
25. Intermediate/ Advanced PowerPoint
26. Good communication and interpersonal skills, including rapport building and influencing
27. Target driven with good time and task management skills
28. Self-motivated, confident, and determined
29. Administration and organisational skills
Desirable:
30. Power BI
31. Retail and/ or FMCG experience
