KS2 SEN Teacher
- Specialist SEMH School Location: Huntingdon Sector: Education and Training Salary: £28,618
- £41,137 per annum (actual) Contract: Full-Time | Permanent (Temp-to-Perm considered) This KS2 SEN Teacher role would suit an experienced teacher or nurture practitioner who is passionate about helping pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs re-engage with education, build emotional resilience, and achieve both academically and personally.
The Role

- Huntingdon As a KS2 SEN Teacher, you will: Deliver high-quality, nurture-based teaching to small groups and on a 1:1 basis Support pupils with SEMH needs, focusing on emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies Consistently apply trauma-informed and attachment-aware practices Plan and deliver personalised learning tailored to individual EHCP outcomes Work collaboratively with SENCOs, pastoral teams, therapists, and external professionals Create a calm, structured, and predictable classroom environment where pupils feel safe and valued You will play a pivotal role in building strong, trusting relationships that enable pupils to develop confidence, self-regulation, and a renewed enthusiasm for learning.
The Ideal Candidate Will: Hold QTS or QTLS (desirable), or have substantial experience within an SEN/SEMH setting Have proven experience working with KS2 pupils with SEMH, trauma, or behavioural needs Demonstrate resilience, patience, and a consistent approach Be skilled in building positive, restorative relationships be able to commute to Huntingdon Be committed to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing Show enthusiasm for continued professional development What xxuwjjq the School Offers: Competitive salary: £28,618
