Our client supports a wide array of sectors and due to unprecedented growth and company development, they are seeking an installation technician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working away from home throughout the week; and alongside an established team to further support our client’s ever-expanding strong customer base.The organisation has a current turnover of £5M and this is set to rise through a combination of market forces, reputation and future strategic plans. The organisation has a long-standing history and the business can provide stability, yet the opportunity to be part of a growth journey.THE ROLEYou will work away from home throughout the UK Monday-Friday (Typically leaving Monday morning, returning Friday afternoon)You will carry out multi-site visits across diverse locationsYou will be installing new and replacement heat retention cover systems in a poolside environmentYou will provide technical service to customers, during installation, service, repair and maintenance of their pool cover systemsYou will deliver first-class customer serviceYou will be working in a team of 2This is a physically demanding role involving lifting & carryingAll Installation Technicians will be subject to a valid DBS and reference checksTHE PERSONMechanically minded, proven ability in problem solving and electrical fault findingCSCS Card, PASMA &/or Abrasive wheels Cert desirable - or a willingness to achieve these within the probation period, with some studying in your own timeHand tool and power tool experience preferableAbility to work safely and effectively as part of a 2-man crew, installing, repairing and maintaining equipment on site using a variety of tools and industry specific processesBe a team player and able to effectively communicate with colleaguesA good level of computer literacy, used to software apps and related smart phone/hand-held technologiesAs the face of the company, you will have direct communication with our clients and therefore must be presentable, polite, passionate, hardworking and able to provide great customer serviceA comprehensive understanding of, and a commitment to the highest standards of Health & Safety in the workplaceSkill-sets and experience are important; however, we value good character, positivity and a willingness to learn and progressA Driver CPC Licence would be advantageous but not essentialWilling to undertake any training and development deemed appropriate to your roleTO APPLYPlease apply for your position and your CV will go direct to our Engineering Consultant Harry Mann who is leading the search.
