Intervention Specialist

Start date: 1st September 2026

Contract: 5 days per week, term time only (4 days per week may be considered for an exceptional candidate)

Salary: WA6-19 £25,565.73 per annum (£30,571 per annum FTE)

Are you looking for a role which offers excellent job satisfaction? We are recruiting for an exceptional individual to take up the role starting in September.

The starting salary is £25,565.73 per annum (equivalent to £30,571.00 FTE) with hours of work in term time between 8:30am – 4:00pm (35 hours per week, 39 weeks a year). The role will be to work with specific students inside and outside of the classroom to deliver targeted numeracy, literacy or SALT intervention.

For this role you will need to have:

1. Experience of delivering academic interventions in a school setting
2. Enthusiasm, commitment and adaptability to enable students to access their learning
3. The ability to work in partnership with teachers to facilitate student learning
4. The ability to plan and deliver engaging interventions to meet students’ needs
5. A positive approach to working with students with special educational needs and disabilities
