The Role
We're looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join our expanding workshop team in Haddenham.
You'll be responsible for machining and preparing timber and board materials to exacting standards, supporting the production of world-class bespoke furniture and joinery. Working with advanced CNC machinery in a modern, well-equipped facility, you'll play a key role in delivering projects that define quality and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate a range of CNC machinery, including:
* 5-axis router tables
* 4-axis lathes
* 5-axis pod and rail CNCs with EPS systems
* Produce components and assemblies to precise specifications and deadlines.
* Work from technical drawings, labels, and design documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Conduct quality checks, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
* Collaborate with the Production Manager to refine and improve processes.
* Support colleagues with general workshop duties as required.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace, following all Health & Safety guidelines.
What We're Looking For
* Proven CNC machining experience — ideally within woodworking or furniture manufacturing.
* Experience with Biesse Rover A or SCM Routech machinery (highly advantageous).
* Working knowledge of AlphaCam
* Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
* Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when required.
* Health & Safety awareness and commitment to best practice.
* Previous experience in a bespoke or high-end furniture environment (desirable).
* Programming experience beneficial — training can be provided for the right candidate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
